Miley Ray Cyrus' real title is Destiny Hope Cyrus. Born on the 23rd of November 1993, in Franklin Tennessee She was brought up in Thompson's Station Tennessee by Tish Cyrus. She has five siblings - two half-brothers, one half-sister and an older brother and sister. Her name was chosen by her parents as they wanted to see her achieve success. Her nickname from childhood, Smiley, due to her infectious personality later changed to Miley. Ron Cyrus is her Democratic politician grandfather. Cyrus began her education at Heritage Elementary School located in Tennessee. After she reached the age of eighteen, Cyrus and her family moved into Toronto in Canada which is where Billy Ray, Cyrus's father was a star in the show Doc (2001) on TV. Cyrus decided to get into acting around this moment. Her father was the lead in Doc (2001). Then, in 2003 she starred in one small part in Tim Burton's Big Fish. Cyrus played on Hannah Montana (2006) (a Disney show that follows a teenager girl who leads a double-life as a performer) as the lead character. Her father also appeared alongside her. Following the success of the show, the show was followed by hit albums, sold-out tour dates as well as deals on merchandise. Cyrus turned into a teenager-friendly star. Following the popularity of Hannah Montana 2006, Cyrus changed characters. Cyrus played Ronnie Miller and Lola alongside Demi Moore in The Last Song 2010 and LOL 2012.
